The gites are set in a small rural hamlet (owned 4/5 by our vendor) of Gouled Treo Bihan 10 minutes from the historic and tourist town of Huelgoat in Brittany. Huelgoat is situated between Morlaix & Carhaix just off the D764. The name Huelgoat was taken from the Bretons for high (Huel) and wood.

Huelgoat has many attractions including approximately 10 square kilometers of forest which is reported to be an “enchanted forest” additionally Le Chaos De Rochers which adjoins the town, a array of vast granite rocks and boulders (some 20m high) which have been informally arranged mainly adjacent to the river Argent. Additionally the Grotte Du Diable (a cave of the devil) which plunges 10m below Huelgoat’s lake.
